Workshop showing
Dancers should be at the Intermediate or Advanced level and aged 15 years and up.

Sample Daily Schedule: 
10:00 – 11:30       Limón Technique
11:45 – 1:15        Limón Repertory and Contemporary Repertory
2:00 – 3:00         Breath and Movement
3:00 – 4:00        Principles of Performance/Partnering

Full-time or part-time attendance options. Housing available.

Full Program Tuition $375 plus registration fee
Part Time tuition $200 plus registration fee

All registrations are subject to a $50 fee and payment fees (where applicable).

Early registration deadline is midnight (EST), March 30, 2019.

Drop-in $20 single class, payable on arrival.

Housing is not available.  When searching for accommodation, it useful to consider the Harlem studio location: 145th St on the A, D and 1 subway lines.

By Check (USA only) – Payment by check must be received 7 business days from registration date to reserve your spot.
When registering, select Pay By Check to be able to complete the registration.

Final payment is due no later than May 24, 2019.

How do I make an international payment?

You can pay by credit card (see above) or make a PayPal.  See above section. 

What happens if I need to withdraw from the workshop?

A refund will only be considered by written cancellation before May 1, 2019, and where necessary, a doctor’s note must be provided. A non-refundable $30 registration fee, $150 tuition deposit, and/or $100 housing deposit are applicable in all cases.



How do I apply?

 All registrations are made online. Find the REGISTER button in the Info & Register tab.

No audition is required.  Experience in the Limón technique is preferred but not necessary. Dancers should have an understanding and experience in modern/contemporary dance forms and be working at Intermediate or Advanced level. Dancers should be aged 17+ years.  For under 17 years old, please contact the Limón team at

Is there a performance?

The workshop concludes with an informal presentation on Friday June 7 at 3pm. This showing is free and open to the public.

Is there a dress code?

 There is no formal dress code, however close-fitting, good condition dance clothing is expected with modest torso coverage.  No cropped tops please. Shoes are not required.

How do I get to the Limón studio?

Limón Dance Company is based in the Dance Theatre of Harlem building.
Address: Everett Center for the Performing Arts, 466 W.152nd Street, between St.Nicholas Ave and Amsterdam Ave.
Local transport: A, D and 1 subway trains to 145th St.
Airports:  New York City is served by 3 main airports – JFK, Newark and La Gaurdia.

What happens if I need to withdraw from the workshop?

 Please notify us if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else. All payments are final and non-refundable in all cases.
